Mechanical impact test

Mechanical impact test is to simulate whether the product function is normal and whether there is performance failure when the product is subjected to a series of impacts in the working environment. There are various impact environments during the actual storage, transportation and use of products, such as braking during vehicle operation, impact caused by collision during cargo handling, etc.
The technical indexes of impact test include: peak acceleration, pulse duration, velocity variation (half sine wave, back peak sawtooth wave, trapezoidal wave) and waveform selection. The conventional mechanical impact test requires 3 impacts on each face, and the total number of impacts on 6 faces is 18. Mechanical impact and collision test can check and determine the weak links of machinery and assess the integrity and reliability of product structure.
Mechanical impact generally produces large acceleration and short time, such as mechanical collision in natural environment. Mechanical shock may have harmful effects on the structural and functional integrity of the product. The mechanical shock types of laboratory mechanisms are divided into three types: half sinusoidal wave, trapezoidal wave (square wave) and triangular wave (front sawtooth wave and back sawtooth wave).
