Differences between PSE certification circular and diamond marks:
1. PSE diamond certification mark:
All products in the catalogue of "specific electrical products" entering the Japanese market must pass the certification of the third party certification organization authorized by the Ministry of economy and industry of Japan, obtain the certification certificate, and affix the diamond PSE mark on the label.
The validity period of diamond PSE certificate is 3 years, 5 years and 7 years (depending on the product)
2. PSE circular certification mark:
For the products in the catalogue of "non specific electrical products", the enterprise shall comply with the requirements of the electricity safety law through self inspection or entrusted by a third party certification body, keep the test results and certificates, and affix a circular PSE mark on the label.
The round PSE certificate is usually declared by the factory itself or issued by a third party laboratory / certification body
Remarks: definition of "specific electrical appliances": from the perspective of structure, use method or other use conditions, electrical appliances with high risk: ① use without monitoring for a long time; ② Social vulnerable groups use it; ③ Electrical appliances used in direct contact with human body.
For example: wires and cables, fuses, wiring appliances (electrical accessories, lighting appliances, etc.), current limiters, transformers, ballasts, electric heating appliances, electric power application mechanical appliances (household appliances), electronic application mechanical appliances (high frequency hair remover), other AC electrical mechanical appliances (electric shock insecticidal device, DC power supply device), portable engine, These need to do Japanese PSE diamond certification.
In fact, the price of PSE certification is affected by many factors. The composition of the cost includes testing fee, annual certificate fee, factory inspection fee and related service fee. And different products charge different fees, different institutions license price is not the same.
List of documents to be submitted for PSE certification:
1. PSE certification application form;
2. Factory inspection questionnaire (when applying for specific electrical supplies);
3. A copy of the business license of the applicant, manufacturer and manufacturer;
4. Product description;
5. Description of the differences among different types of products in the same application unit;
6. List of key components or main raw materials;
7. Product dimension drawing, general assembly drawing and dimension drawing of each part;
8. Certificate of authorization issued by the manufacturer (if applicable);
